Given the existing problems at the borders and the incidence of insecurity and threats, the main issue of this study is based on the role of ethnic - religious integration of frontiersmen in sustainable security of Saravan border. In terms of its objectives, the present study is of an applied research type and in terms of methodology it is a descriptive-survey study. The statistical population included 65 commanders and tribal leaders, intellectuals and influential people who were selected using purposive sampling method. The data were gathered via field study and through questionnaire and interview. The study was conducted during 2009-2014 in Iran-Pakistan common border within the city of Saravan border regiment. The validity of the research tools were confirmed by the professors and the reliability was calculated using Cronbach's alpha test. To test the hypotheses, t-tests, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Friedman test were employed. The results showed that all four hypotheses raised in this study were confirmed, that is, there is a significant relationship between sustainable security and political, cultural, and value integrity of ethnicities and religions living in the borders.
