Human factors in the workplace are exposed to a lot of nervousness and mental stresses that have an adverse effect on their performance. Job motivation is one of the most important factors in job success. Motivation and job satisfaction are factors that increase the efficiency and personal satisfaction. The present study has been conducted aiming at the investigation and explanation of the effective factors in strengthening the employees' job motivation in Chabahar Marine Guard Command. In terms of its objectives, the present study is of an applied research type and in terms of its nature it is considered as a survey study. The methodology of this study is descriptive-analytic. The statistical population included 550 individuals from whom 230 individuals of Chabahar marine guard command personnel were selected using stratified random sampling method. The data were gathered through a researcher-made questionnaire whose reliability in various dimensions was calculated by Cronbach's alpha (α=.7). The validity of the questionnaire in terms of content validity was also confirmed by the experts. The one-sample t-test was employed for analyzing the data and testing the hypotheses and Friedman test was used to determine the priorities of the factors. Analysis of the results shows that individual and job characteristics, type of work and family characteristics of Chabahar marine guard command staff members have positive impact on strengthening their motivation. According to the findings of this study, it can be inferred that promoting the staff members in the dimensions of individual and job characteristics and the type of their jobs and also helping them in their livelihoods condition and paying special attention to their family dimensions can have a positive effect on reinforcing the staff members' job motivation. The fifth hypothesis of the study was also rejected meaning that the motivational priorities of Chabahar marine guard command staff members are not different from each other.
